I have had a busy speaking schedule the last couple of months starting with the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) meeting in Mexico in February. YPO is a group for Presidents and CEOs of companies under the age of 50 which gives the members an opportunity to network and share experiences with peers who are in similar positions. This particular group was the Southern Seven chapter and they could not have been a more gracious or welcoming group. It was a fantastic event.
Later in the month I was at the GAIM Hedge Fund Conference in the Cayman Islands. This year’s conference focused on operational risk management and due diligence, a timely topic, especially for those in the financial industry.
This week I was at Harvard speaking to a great group of MBA students, many of whom, like myself had started out in the military. It was great to meet them and to visit Cambridge.
Next month I will be speaking twice for the Association for Corporate Growth, an international organization dedicated to fostering sound corporate growth. I will be in Los Angeles on April 7th and then San Diego on April 20th.
I will also be speaking at the Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles on April 21st.
